Marel Introduces ProCon Flowline at the Seafood Expo North America

Processing flowlines from Marel operate in processing plants of all sizes, all over the world. Now Marel introduces ProCon – the latest member of the Marel family of fish processing flowlines.

The ProCon Flowline is simple, yet innovative. It utilizes RFID technology to track all product on the line and monitor performance.

With real-time feedback, dashboards display data on individual operator performance, enabling production managers to greatly improve overall yield, throughput, and quality.

The basic principal of a Marel flowline is to replace traditional manual table processing, where the raw material is constantly being stacked and stored and then manually transported between processes. Marel’s flowlines enable a continuous flow of the raw material to and from the operators.

Live demonstrations of the ProCon Flowline and many other applications will be held at Marel’s stand (#865) at the Seafood Expo in Boston, 16-18 March.

Marel specialists will be at hand throughout the exhibition to provide information and advice on the company’s equipment for processing salmon and whitefish, including farmed whitefish species such as tilapia and pangasius.
