Kangamiut Seafood A/S is one of the largest seafood exporters in Denmark. The North Atlantic Ocean and Barents Sea are among the company’s primary suppliers of fish and shellfish.
Kangamiut Seafood has subsidiary companies in Denmark, England, France, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and Russia ensuring a direct contact with all parts of the European and overseas seafood markets.

Kangamiut Seafood A/S offers a wide range of products, and maintains a large number of suppliers and customers worldwide.
Cooked shell-on prawns are one of the company’s primary products. Small land-based factories in Greenland and the Faeroe Islands were among Kangamiut Seafood A/S first suppliers. However, shell-on prawns only really became the company trademark when the Greenlandic trawler fleet expanded at the end of the 1970s.

Cod and haddock from Murmansk became key products for Kangamiut Seafood A/S at the beginning of the 1990s when the business area was extended to also include Russian products.
King Crab from the Barents Sea has been included in the company’s area of business, and Kangamiut Seafood A/S is one of the primary players on the global market today.
