Chef Middle East has launched a new range of fresh processed seafood.

Chef Middle East Diversifies its Seafood Offering

  (UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, 3/10/2021)
Chef Middle East announces the launch of its seafood processing solution part of its regional growth strategy. A simplified Premium Seafood offering aiming at supporting the demand of the Foodservice operators.

This week, the distributor announced the expansion of its operations with a Seafood processing solution for the UAE market. Over the years and based on customers and markets’ demands, Chef Middle East (CME) has continuously developed its Seafood category and now carries an extensive range of fresh and frozen products imported from different parts of the world.

Chef Middle East provides the finest quality seafood products and superior customer service combined with the most competitive pricing.

With this constant growth mindset paired witha strong understanding of the local market and a keen attention to always anticipate their customers’ needs, CME’s seafood team of experts has just started a new fish processing facility. Through this facility, the distributor will be able to increase its current wide range of items and bring to market a ready-to-use seafood solution through processing fresh fish fillets, customized portions, value added products and more.

Mathews Philip.

Mathews Philip, Seafood Category Manager at Chef Middle East said: “The main opportunity of launching this solution to market mostly resides in the fact that it will enable us to customize our offering based on foodservice customers’ demands for tailor-made and unique products, with a cost-saving element, due to processing the fresh seafood locally.”

Since its inception in 1995, Chef Middle East has built a strong reputation for service excellence and has always made a point to place their customers feedback and satisfaction at the top of their priority list.

By launching this new range of fresh processed seafood, the distributor fulfills its continuous promise to deliver the best quality ingredients while expanding its footprint in the industry through providing the market with an ever-evolving range that adapts to today and tomorrow’s customers’ needs.

Chef Middle East is one of the leading distributor of quality fresh and frozen seafood products in the market, catering to hotels, restaurants and catering institutions.

“Chef Middle East new range of fresh processed seafood products aims at bringing to market a solution for all kitchen professionals that are looking for quality, convenience, consistency and wanting to save time. Typically, our customers prefer getting their fresh seafood items from European origins, so we surely want to maintain that. However, we’d also want to promote and support locally grown and sourced products which will help us increase our range and supply a solution to a wider range of foodservice operators, depending on their needs and focus. For the launch of this new product range on the UAE market, we’ve decided to develop our own brand, Catch.95.” Adds Philip.

Chef Middle East sets the bar high with their high standard on products selection.

“Catch.95.” enables foodservice operators to buy Seafood from world-class suppliers of the freshest and highest quality line of products with Salmon, Tuna, Shrimps, Seabream, Seabass and much more in the range."

"The marketplace is changing, and Chef Middle East ensures to offer solutions that adapt to its customers’ requirements, mindful of convenience, while offering higher quality products to the growing regional market. Committed to quality and transparency, Chef Middle East brand of Seafood “Catch.95.”  offers premium products that are traceable from fleet to table".

“Lately, convenience has become one of the biggest requirements from our customers on the market. With the launch of this new processing seafood solution, CME will not only offer convenient options, but will also prioritize the premium quality standards they are known for on the region; which will definitely entice customers to select us as their partner of choice,” explains Philip.

Chef Middle East offers a wide variety of products ranging from fish and shellfish to crustaceans and cephalopods and more from all over the world.

Population growth and income increase will keep on driving an increasing demand for protein in general and seafood in specific. In fact, according to a study by SEMrush in 2019: “the GCC forecasts growth in Demand for Seafood” and the UN body estimated that the GCC fishing industry produces 392,000-tonnes of fish per year. Compare this figure with the forecast that by 2030, fish consumption in the UAE alone is predicted to cross the 900,000-tonne barrier and the GCC’s demand for fresh fish products from local, regional, and global fish suppliers is expected to grow by eight percent annually until 2030.”

Chef Middle East Seafood processing solution will allow to increase the in-country operations enabling to bring high quality, outmost fresh Seafood products with a better value and convenience for customers, resulting in consistent and flavorful products to create a memorable dining experience, every time.
