Santa Monica Seafood Announced Plans for a Major Renovation

Santa Monica Seafood Company announced plans for a major renovation of their retail location in Costa Mesa this fall.

| Santa Monica Seafood shop will be reopened mid-November |
Opened in 1997, this location was their first stand-alone retail concept. Plans include an expanded full-service cafe with a Mediterranean-inspired menu, a brand new Oyster Bar, a revamped fresh seafood display and an extensive selection of wines and cheeses.

The new cafe and oyster bar will offer a large selection of fresh oysters on the half shell, Italian style crudo, traditional cioppino and many other Italian-inspired dishes.

Michael Cigliano, one of the owners and Executive Vice President of Santa Monica Seafood, says, "After 14 years we felt it was time to freshen up our look and add some exciting new features for our loyal customers. We're always going to have the freshest seafood offerings but we're really excited to offer unique wines, cheeses, pasta from Italy, sauces and anything else that you need for a perfect seafood dinner.
"The oyster bar and the revamped dine-in menu are really extraordinary ways for our customers to get their seafood fix, as well. We've gotten a tremendous response at the new Santa Monica store and we feel confident that we can offer a similar experience to our friends in Orange County", added Cigliano.
