Expected increase of 8% to 33,000 tons
It has been found that the total allowable crab catch (TAC) in the Russian Far East is expected to increase in 2025. In particular, the proposed TAC for snow crabs (Opilio species) from the Far East is expected to reach 33,214 tons, an increase of 8% compared to the 2024 quota, the highest amount since 2013.
