  (SPAIN, 9/9/2014)

Diversified Communications, organizer of Seafood Expo Southern Europe, announced an expanding exhibitor participation, new product showcase and special events program for the third edition of its fish and seafood trade exposition scheduled for 22-24 September 2014 at the Fira de Barcelona – Gran Via.

To date, Seafood Expo Southern Europe has attracted important seafood companies, associations and business federations from Spain and more than 24 countries, confirming the event’s strategic positioning as a world-class fish and seafood fair focusing on the Mediterranean market.

The New Product Showcase is where the latest new products and trends in the Mediterranean seafood market are launched; you can explore the New Product Showcase on the exhibit floor, and get a first-hand look at the latest packaged seafood products, condiments and culinary dishes to be launched this year.

“Seafood Expo Southern Europe is poised for success,” said Liz Plizga, Show Director for Diversified Communications, the company that produces the exposition in partnership with Alimentaria Exhibitions. “Several programs including key buyer, hosted buyer and business matchmaking programs have been enacted to draw high-volume buyers and connect them with exhibiting companies that supply a diverse selection of seafood products. Paired with our organizations’ expertise and involvement in the seafood industry, this year is shaping to be a strong edition.”

In addition, all participants are welcome to attend the event’s networking reception which will take place on the first day of the exposition, Monday, 22 September from 17:00 – 18:00 on the exhibit floor.

“This complimentary networking event offers exhibitors and attendees the opportunity to meet with leading players in the seafood industry and preview the event’s highlights in a relaxed and social atmosphere,” according to Plizga.

Attendees to Seafood Expo Southern Europe are also invited to visit the trade fair’s New Product Showcase located in the exposition hall which will display the latest and most innovative seafood products and services to be launched in the Mediterranean market.
