Seafood Barcelona brings buyers face-to-face with top suppliers in one convenient location for three days of networking, sourcing new products and doing business.

According to Liz Plizga, show director for the event, the second edition of Seafood Barcelona is not only welcoming returning exhibitors and pavilions who experienced first-hand the benefits of their presence in this market last year and decided to grow their space at this year’s event, but also is increasing the participation of new companies looking to expand their business in the significant Southern Europe and Maghreb markets.

There is an increasing participation of new companies looking to expand their business in the significant Southern Europe and Maghreb markets.

“We are thrilled by the interest of new companies who have signed up to exhibit at this month’s event,” says Liz Plizga. “Their participation along with the presence of renewing pavilions and exhibitors is a confirmation of Seafood Barcelona’s strength in providing companies with a unique opportunity to grow their business.”

Seafood Barcelona, one of the market's most important expositions for buyers and suppliers.

“Our co-exhibitors were positively surprised with the number of potential buyers and contacts they established. The buyers of the retail distribution, the processing sector and the HORECA industry were present,” comments Zoran Radan DVM on behalf of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, which participated in the first edition of Seafood Barcelona and coming back this year. “The number of professional interest and buyers that visited our booth made our decision to renew our participation to this year’s event a really easy task.”

“We found the presence of a large qualified audience. We met important buyers from Spain, Italy, Portugal and France,” adds Pablo Mujica, Manager, Krustagroup, about their presence at the 2012 exposition.
