Marel’s new M360 standard wraparound labeler employs the latest technology in flexible linerless labeling.

Marel Launches New High-Speed Linerless Labeler at Seafood Expo North America 2017

  (UNITED STATES, 2/6/2017)

Marel announces the U.S. launch of its new M360 high-speed labeler. This state-of-the-art labeler employs the latest technology in flexible linerless labeling.

It offers premium presence on the retail shelf with full wraparound labels, as well as C-wrap partial wraparound labels and top labels. Live demonstrations will exhibit the M360’s first-class labeling of all popular tray sizes and skin packs.

With its unique combination of efficiency, consistency and flexibility, Marel’s new M360 labeler can help producers achieve a winning presence on the retail shelf.

Experience loin processing with FleXicut in 360°
Another highlight will be the new 360° video experience of FleXicut, enabling visitors to explore how the system combines high precision bone detection with water-jet cutting for pinbone removal and further portioning of the fillet. This experience also offers visitors an up-close look at the way the FleXisort uses a gentle modular drop-down mechanism to distribute portions into different product streams specified by FleXicut’s software intelligence.

Top performing equipment for salmon
Marel will exhibit advanced, efficient processing equipment for salmon, including the MS2730 Salmon filleting machine with integrated back and belly trim, the MSC90 MA Salmon Slicer, the 2612 Pinbone Remover and the I-Cut 130 Portion Cutter.

The MS 2730 Filleting Machine can process up to 25 fish/min and now offers automatic back and belly trimming, further reducing the need for manual trimming.

Final goods management
Marel’s food processing software team will highlight its efficient, seamless management of finished goods, displaying the advantages of the Innova Ordering, Inventory, Packing and Labeling modules.

The Innova Packing module is an advanced packing and labeling solution with full inventory, order processing and palletizing capabilities.

Maximize yield, throughput and quality
Other equipment on display includes the Marel multihead weighers for seafood and the classic marine scales.

Marel Marine Scales are equipped with motion compensation devices which compensate for the motion of a vessel at sea, making weighing almost as fast and accurate as on land.

Marel welcomes guests to stand #865 at the Seafood Expo North America and invites processors to see firsthand how the company can help them increase the bottom line by maximizing yields, throughput, and quality, while reducing processing times and labor costs.
