PERUZA product line contains different graders, such as vibration graders and roll-graders

Latvian Engineering Company Broadens its Market

  (LATVIA, 8/9/2010)

Spring 2010 appears successful for PERUZA, a company specialized in equipment for the food processing industry, in its efforts to enter new markets.

 Small pelagic grader
After lengthy negotiations PERUZA completed its first design and manufacturing contract with Turkish customer Polifish for a Small Fish Grading Line. According to PERUZA, this is the very first time that a Latvian engineering company supplies new technological equipment to
Turkey.

Fish grading is an absolute prerequisite for efficient industrial fish processing. Actual catch often contains fish of different sizes and species. Grading by size and separation of species ensures uniform flow, thus increasing capacity and quality.

PERUZA can share its experience in the design and the production of grading lines with different capacities. The company’s product line contains different graders, such as vibration graders and roll-graders.

It is important to stress that capacity of grading lines often is set by different considerations than continuous operations. The fresh fish supply usually is cyclic; the ‘must consider’ factor is ‘perishability’ of the fish that demands to be processed within appropriate time, even after the grading line becomes idle.
Every PERUZA project of grading lines is developed taking into consideration clients’ needs and species of fish to be processed.

The company’s industrial equipments for the fishing industry includes: fish receiving, hoppers and tippers, grading, dosing cutting and cleaning, freezing and defrosting, production of canned fish, smoking, and salting, marinating and frying machines.

About PERUZA Ltd.

PERUZA produces means of production for demanding clients. The company specializes in equipments for food processing, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry providing customized solutions.

Although PERUZA was established in 1991, the owners’ experience has been built long before, working for famous Latvian enterprise VEF and engineering shops of Latvian fishermen’s cooperatives.

PERUZA has its own design and engineering office, experienced technologists and skilled workers and is a member of the international network of independent professionals, thus ensuring most suitable solutions for both local and the global market.

PERUZA exports to Sweden, Great Britain, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Croatia, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Estonia, among others. PERUZA exports counts for 90 percent of its total output, exporting with its very own trade mark.
