Market Leader in the Fresh Food Packaging

  (ITALY, 10/30/2023)

For the last 70 years Fabbri Group has been the market leader in the fresh food packaging with its unique offer of machines, films, software and service.

Fabbri Group is the only supplier in the food market world able to offer both packaging machines and the most suitable films for the packaging of fresh food. The company's products can be used individually with optimal performance or even in combination with each other, and this is the real strength: Fabbri Group provides sustainable and multi-technology packaging systems, with various film solutions in different materials.

Gruppo Fabbri offers films for stretch packaging, with or without tray and in both manual and automatic mode, based on PVC (polyvinyl chloride), PE (polyethylene), compostable and of renewable origin.

Fabbri Group is also the only company to offer FG Instore Software, the ideal digital tool to integrate and manage packaging machines complete with weighing, pricing and labeling systems in one or more points of sale. To complete its portfolio, the company offers a service of spare parts and technical assistance that is unparalleled in the world.

Packaging machines: a wide range of packaging machines and options for your packaging in stretch, heat sealing, MAP, skin and seaming. Characterized by flexibility, compactness, robustness and ease of use, the solutions are particularly suitable for in-store food packaging operations, for packaging centers and for large industrial companies. The wrapping and sealing machines can be customized according to your production needs through optional and other accessories and used in synergy with the food films developed by Fabbri Group in order to maximize efficiency and sustainability of your packaging system.

Automac 40 has been designed with the aim of providing the best performance in terms of reliability, speed and appearance of the product to meet the needs of large retailers and packaging centres.

Films and foils to protect food: The Group's food films are produced in the most innovative formulations to make your packaging system safe, convenient and as environmentally friendly as possible according to the chosen application. For an experienced film producer, "Preserving without wasting" means offering films that guarantee a longer shelf life and a reduction in food waste. Through packaging, it is possible to improve the quality control of products and a more rational management of sales, re-provisioning, logistics and production processes. Stretch films are available in both neutral and printed versions to maximize the possibilities of communication and branding through packaging.

Skin packaging preserves the wholesomeness and freshness of the product.

FGInstore  software: FGInstore is the software capable of interpreting and translating data from devices, such as scales and scanners, or from data management software, such as products, prices, weights and traceability, making them available and usable for subsequent operations.

FGInstore collects all the data and makes it available and readable and therefore usable as needed. Communication tools, each designed to read the language of the interconnected device, transfer data to a single database, also ensuring data transmission control and monitoring of communication protocols. FGInstore has a simple and intuitive interface and above all customizable: it consists of modules to be adapted to different needs, each module can be customized and designed to measure, modules and extra features can be added later.

Fish and seafood products packaging

For more than 70 years on the market, Fabbri Group knows the most suitable techniques for packaging fish, shellfish, shellfish, seafood in full respect of food.

Fabbri Group evaluates the limits and critical aspects of the process of food deterioration, in order to choose the most suitable packaging technique to safeguard its nutritional and organoleptic characteristics, extending its shelf life.
A suitable packaging can in fact extend the expiry date of a food from 2 to 5 times depending on the type of product.

Gruppo Fabbri has many varieties of food films for tray-sealing available to customers in order to better meet market demands.

A correct and effective packaging also protects and facilitates the transport and sale of food, also appreciably enhancing the appearance of the fresh product from the place of production, at the point of sale, up to the kitchen of the final customer. If correctly selected and used, therefore, packaging becomes a key driver for sales and the fight against food waste: a particularly high index risk in the case of food of marine origin.

Fish and sea products are highly perishable foods, the choice of the correct film and packaging technique will ensure its useful life, will preserve its freshness while also avoiding damage of the  product and dangerous contamination. Seafood products normally arrive on the shelves of shops, gastronomy, supermarkets and fish shops in different formats: fresh, ready to cook, cooked, ready to eat, frozen.

Fabbri Group is known for its constant attention to the emerging needs of the market and develops solutions for fresh and retail processors that cover all food sectors (meat, fruit, vegetables, dairy, fish, gastronomy, vegetable proteins).

Packaging techniques must therefore take into account all these methods of presentation, and the packaging must perform precise functions. For fresh and “ready to cook” seafood products, Fabbri Group offers different solutions with stretch film, particularly suitable to provide the fresh product with a high appeal and proper storage on the exhibition bench. For those cooked and “ready to eat”, but also for the fresh ones, Fabbri Group suggests packaging solutions particularly suitable for those in tray-sealing.
