A new production plant for fish processing will be opened in the Kamchatka Territory. The fish canning factory "Komandor" was built by the fishermen's collective farm named after V. I. Lenin. The company specializes in chilled and frozen fish and fish products. In particular, the plant will produce fish oil (30 t/day), pollock products (223 t/day) and fishmeal (40 t/day).
According to the press service of the administration of the Kamchatka Territory, commissioning before the trial launch of production is coming to an end. Scheduled to reach full capacity in August, the plant will operate for seven months a year and will become the largest in the region. The company will process white fish in record time on a Russian and world scale, said Yulia Morozova, deputy chairperson of the Government of the Kamchatka Territory. In fact, the new production will be waste-free, she added.
The collective fish farm named after V. I. Lenin produces canned fish, preserves, fresh-frozen seafood, fish, fish delicacies and other products. As part of a collective fishing farm, including a coastal fish processing factory, a fleet of 24 boats, two mother ships.
