Camanchaca Fishing Company is one of Chile’s main producers of “Ocean Raised” farmed salmon and a leader in the farming and processing of scallops and abalone. Canned mackerel is also an important product for Camanchaca and is produced for both national and international markets. In the area of fishmeal, Camanchaca is focussed on the top quality segments of Premium and Super Premium fishmeal.
Camanchaca was created in Chile in 1965 with a focus on fishing and processing of wild shrimp and Langostino Lobster. In 1980 a change in management brought about a diversification strategy that has resulted in steady and consistent growth.
