Grandson of Mose Iacino, founder of Seattle Fish Company, James Iacino represents the third generation of the Iacino family to be dedicated to offering the best fresh and frozen seafood available.
As president, Iacino oversees daily operations and helps develop and implement long-term strategies for company growth and sustainability. Additionally, Iacino works closely with national account clients and helps inspire, motivate and manage a sales staff based throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
Iacino takes on these roles so he can guarantee that the company maintains its top-tier status and continues to deliver on its legacy of customer service and quality product. He truly differentiates Seattle Fish Company from competitors by passionately speaking about the company’s 90-year history of outstanding quality and customer service on a daily basis.
Iacino is a graduate of the National Fisheries Institute’s Future Leaders program and is actively involved with the industry group throughout the year. Iacino also represents Seattle Fish Company as a member of the Global Aquaculture Alliance, which is dedicated to the sustainable supply of global seafood products.
James actively supports Project Angel Heart in Denver through the promotion of charity events and seafood donations, and works closely with Share Our Strength’s Chefs Up Front events in Boulder and Denver annually to ensure the continued success of their programs.
Iacino was born in Colorado but spent part of his childhood in Arizona. James graduated from Colorado State University with degrees in business management and political science. He lives in Denver with his two cats, Dom and Drama. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, golf, and playing the guitar.
