We are the National Fisheries Health Agency, a specialized technical body with technical, functional, economic, financial and administrative autonomy, attached to the Ministry of Production, in charge of regulating, supervising and supervising health and safety throughout the productive chain of resources and fishery and aquaculture products, as well as food (feed), additives and veterinary products for aquaculture.

• We control and supervise the hydrobiological resources, from their extraction to their final consumption, and in their different presentations: fresh, frozen, cured and preserved, among others.
• We safeguard the sanitary condition of national hydrobiological resources through the design and application of measures that protect the health of hydrobiological resources against biological risks.
