The Canadian Council of Professional Fish Harvesters (CCPFH) is a non-profit organization that ensures the health and vitality of the Canadian fishing industry.
CCPFH’s main objective is to ensure that fish harvesters have the required knowledge and skills for their trade and to meet the human resource needs of the Canadian fishing industry now and in the future.
Founded in 1995, CCPFH acts as a National Industry Sector Council to support the skills and human resource capacity needs of the fishing industry in Canada.
CCPFH is governed by a Board of Directors. These directors are from fish harvester organizations from across the country. These Directors in turn represent the Atlantic Coast, Pacific Coast and Freshwater areas.
