Compared to a couple of years ago more and more people in the United States are demanding the right to know and wanting non-GMO products.
Many people want to avoid GMOs because they are aware of the risks to the environment and human health.
In order to fulfil these needs, in 2005 the Non-GMO Project was founded, an initiative to encourage natural and organic food manufacturers to verify their products as non-GMO. At present, sales of Non-GMO Project–verified products have reached a billion dollars, and it is growing at a rate of approximately 24 percent per year. (More Info)
