History of the company: Orizon S.A. is born as the result of the merge of SouthPacific Korp S.A. and Pesquera San José S.A., companies that started with the development of the fishing industry in the 40’s in Chile.
This merge is triggered by the earthquake and tsunami on February 27th 2010, and also by the low catch of jack mackerel by the end of the year.
Within this new society, Pesquera Iquique Guanaye S.A. participates with the 66,8%, Pesquera Coloso S.A. with the 20% and Empresa Pesquera Eperva with the remaining 13,2%.

Orizon manufacture and commercialize food for human consumption (frozen, preserves and groceries) and for industrial application (fishmeal and fish oil), from natural resources.
