El Cocedero Barrañamar is located in the seaside village of Aguiño, on the Galician Coast.
We are a company created by seamen with ample experience in cultivating mussels. Founded in 2001, with the idea of offering a quality product, insignia of the Galician gastronomy.
We make up a cooperative of mussel pickers presided over by Juan José Martín Rodríguez, in which 50 people work. Our objective is to provide top quality cooked and frozen mussels, as well as to contribute to the sustainable development of our land. We work in accordance with both the environmental and public health legislation in force. The most advanced technology and strict sanitary controls allow us to deliver our product in optimal conditions. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our own laboratory, carrying out internal controls on both the product and the plant in general. The data obtained is checked against two approved, independent laboratories.
