Nor-sea Foods Limited was founded in 1974. They are smoked fish specialists and have two production sites that focus their expertise on private label contracts. In Aberdeen we predominately cold smoke white fish (haddock, cod, whiting and coley) and kippers.Whilst in Fraserburgh we predominately hot smoke to produce chilled, ready to eat, mackerel fillets and salmon.
The company have achieved higher level accreditation from EFSIS/BRC. They are committed to processing fish from sustainable and manageable sources. To assure product integrity, all processes and ingredients are HACCP monitored and comply with the stringent requirements of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The facilities are Kosher approved and the products certified by the Orthodox Union (OU) and MBD, as well as being suitable for Halal production under supervision.
