Korshags with roots and operations based in Falkenberg has a long and proud history of being at the forefront of premium quality, craftsmanship, innovation and sustainability in seafood. Starting in autumn 2024, a new launch of the brand will be initiated to further strengthen Korshags as the mass premium brand in blue food.
"Korshag's vision is to change the view of seafood and make it simpler, more accessible and tastier while never compromising our belief in healthy seas and genuine craftsmanship" says Jörgen Bergqvist Group CEO Ocean Collective and executive chairman of Korshags Food.
To enable the next level of quality and sustainability, Korshags now announces an exclusive and long-term collaboration with the innovative Spanish shrimp farming company Noray Seafood.
Noray Seafood is pioneering new methods in sustainable farming. Its indoor farming sets a new standard for shrimp grown with recirculating water use "RAS" (100% recirculated and controlled water), own hatchery, no use of antibiotics or additives and no water outlet, resulting in an environmentally superior shrimp with ultra-fresh sashimi quality.

“Noray Seafood is redefining the global shrimp industry with a whole new level of quality and sustainability for shrimp farming, an industry facing sustainability challenges. We are continuing to build new markets outside of Spain in response to the growing demand for sustainability, and are therefore very pleased to form a new partnership with Korshags. As we share the core values of quality and the importance of sustainability, the partnership enables us to unleash the full potential of our products on the environmentally conscious Swedish market," says Benjamin Björkenheim Ajo, CEO of Noray Seafood
"We are very proud of this new transformative partnership which, together with our brand and innovation pipeline, will be a cornerstone of our future growth and sustainability strategy," concludes Jörgen Bergqvist.
