Import and export data of aquatic products in February 2023

According to the February 2023 statistical monthly report released by the General Administration of Customs, the number of imports and exports of aquatic products in my country showed an increasing trend in February.
 
In terms of imports, the import volume in February was 330,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 32%; the import value was 9.508 billion yuan (U$ 1383.243.331,4), a year-on-year increase of 28.2%. Among them, the import volume of food and aquatic products was 320,000 tons (a year-on-year increase of 32.6%), and the import value was 9.329 billion yuan (U$ 1357.202.044,4) (a year-on-year increase of 27.8%). The import volume of frozen fish was 160,000 tons (a year-on-year increase of 42.1%), and the import value was 2.344 billion yuan (U$ 341.009.925,2)(a year-on-year increase of 49.6%).In terms of exports, the total export of aquatic products in February was 230,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 33%; the export value was 8.687 billion yuan (U$ 1263.802.568,35) , a year-on-year increase of 35%. Among them, the export volume of food and aquatic products was 230,000 tons (a year-on-year increase of 33%), and the export value was 8.676 billion yuan (U$ 1262.202.265,8) (a year-on-year increase of 35%).
 
 
However, due to the sharp decline in imports and exports in January, the cumulative import and export volume of aquatic products from January to February 2023 has decreased. From January to February, a total of 610,000 tons of aquatic products were imported, with an amount of 19.258 billion yuan (U$ 2801.693.318,9), a slight decrease of 1.4% compared with the same period in 2021, and an increase of 5.6% in export value. The total export value of aquatic products from January to February was 530,000 tons, a decrease of 4.8% compared with the same period last year, and the export value decreased by 6.3% compared with the same period to 20.303 billion yua(U$ 2953.722.061,1).
