Russian fishermen have caught over 4.3 million tons

According to the industry monitoring system of the Federal Agency for Fisheries (Federal Fisheries Monitoring System), the catch of aquatic bioresources by all Russian users exceeded 4.3 million tons (4,366 thousand).

Far Eastern basin: more than 3.3 million tons (3334.1 thousand)

Pollock - over 1.79 million tons; cod – 97.9 thousand tons; Pacific herring – 361.1 thousand tons (+51.2 thousand tons compared to 2023); Far Eastern flounder – 57.8 thousand tons; Iwasi sardines – 469.3 thousand tons in the Russian EEZ (+55.6 thousand tons to the 2023 level)

Northern basin: 402.3 thousand tons

Cod – 204.6 thousand tons; haddock – 54.1 thousand tons; capelin – 51.7 thousand tons (+ 28.6 thousand tons compared to the 2023 level)

Western basin: 63.9 thousand tons;

Sprat – 33.7 thousand tons; Baltic herring – 21.4 thousand tons

Azov-Black Sea basin: 27.7 thousand tons

of anchovy - 9.7 thousand tons (+ 0.9 thousand tons to the level of 2023)

Volga-Caspian basin: 62.1 thousand tons

Sprat – 20.9 thousand tons; ordinary fish species – 16.3 thousand tons

In the exclusive economic zones of foreign states, conventional areas and the open part of the World Ocean, the catch of the Russian fleet amounted to almost 441,684 thousand tons.

As of November 9, there were 35 vessels approaching the seaports of Primorsky Krai with 21,195 thousand tons of fish products on board. Fresh-frozen catches of pollock (1,192 thousand tons), herring (5,621 thousand tons) and cod (0,011 thousand tons).

Products from fresh catches are supplied to the domestic market on a priority basis.
