In June this year, Russia, the U.S., and Canada were the three major importers of frozen pollock.
It was imported 70,645 tons from Russia, 3,714 tons from the United States, and 64 tons from Canada.
The average import price per country was the highest from the United States USD 1.25/kg, from Russia USD 1.07/kg, and the lowest from Canada USD 1.06/kg.
In June 2021, frozen pollock imports reached USD 18.61 million, up 794% from USD 2.08 million a year earlier.
The average import price in June was USD 1.06/Kg, up 11% from USD 0.96/kg a year earlier.
