On September 28, as part of the official program of the International Fishery Forum and the Exhibition of Fishing Industry, Seafood and Technology, the Pollock Catchers Association (PCA) will hold a presentation of the category brand “Far Eastern Pollock”, as well as a marketing program to popularize it in Russia. This is the first comprehensive project to promote fish products in the country.
“Last week we launched a large-scale campaign to promote the Far Eastern Pollock brand in Russia. The goal of our work is to develop the domestic fish market by increasing the volume of pollock sales by a multiple. The project is aimed at repositioning the country’s main commercial resource and popularizing it among consumers as a high-quality, healthy, wild protein that is as convenient as possible in preparation. This is the first full-fledged marketing campaign to promote fish products in Russia. We expect that its implementation will have a tangible multiplier effect for all market participants,” said PCA President Alexey Buglak.
The project will be presented to the business community at the International Fishery Forum. The presentation will provide comprehensive information about the strategic and commercial goals, the concept of the Far Eastern Pollock brand and tools for its promotion. As part of the event, the industry community will be introduced to the brand ambassador - popular chef, millionaire blogger Vasily Emelianenko - and the promotion team. The media partner of the event is the Internet portal Fishnews.

“The event will be held in an open format: we invited representatives of relevant departments, processors, the wholesale segment, retail, and HoReCa to participate. We count on their interest, because the implementation of the project will bring a tangible effect to each of the links in the supply chain “from sea to plate.” Together we can qualitatively change the fish market in the country,” Alexey Buglak is convinced.
The presentation will take place on Thursday, September 28, at 16:00 in hall F200 (2nd floor).
