"There were communication problems derived basically from understanding the language, and problems that implied the coordination of the visit,"said the director of Communication of the Public Prosecutor's Office.

The director of Communication of the Prosecutor's Office, Javier Benech, reported on Tuesday that the dismissed was due to two arguments. The first one, a report from the National Directorate of Aquatic Resources (Dinara), the competent body in these cases, which "states that it cannot conclude that there was illegal fishing in Uruguayan territorial waters."
The second argument was that,"regarding a possible contempt, the prosecutor understands that it was not configured either because there were communication problems derived basically from understanding the language, and problems that involved the coordination of the visit."
“Although the first control was carried out the next day, the Chinese ship that is leaving is heading for the port of Montevideo,” she added.
