The Heathro™ Fish Pump transfers fish safely, gently and quickly from one location to another making life easier for hatchery employees and managers. The cart mounted self priming fish pump can be moved around your site with ease. Available in two power models: electric and gasoline, so there is no longer any need to have many different fish pumps on the same site. The Heathro™ Fish Pump can easily be configured for 6″, 4″ & 3″ hose on the inlet and outlet and can safely pump eggs to fish up to 400g (salmonid) in size.
The Heathro™ Fish Pump is in use around the world moving salmon, trout, shrimp, char, tilapia, hybrid-striped bass, mackerel, anchovy and other species. The fish pump is also available as a fully submersible model that can be used in raceways, fish drain pumps and ponds.
How It Works
The Heathro™ Fish Pump can be easily rolled into position next the tank or raceway to be pumped. A flexible inlet hose is placed in the water. Once powered up the fish pump will gently draw fish and water and quickly distribute the fish along the discharge hose to the transfer point. The fish pump has a self priming height of up to 3 meters with a head capacity of up to 5 meters for a total combined lift of up to 8 meters.
