On behalf of the International Fishmeal and Fish Oil Organisation (IFFO) I am pleased to invite you to participate in the 2010 annual Conference which will be held in Beijing, China on 25th - 28th October 2010. Subject to final approval the conference theme this year is Fishmeal and Fish oil responsibility, value and health Held every year at a different city, and running for over 50 years, the IFFO annual conference is the world’s only conference dedicated to the fishmeal and fish oil industry and its value chain partners, and attracts the key decision makers from the world leading industry sector players.
IFFO is the international non‐profit organisation which represents fishmeal and fish oil producers and related trades throughout the world. IFFO is globally respected having specialised consultative status with the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), and plays an advisory role with other international organisations.
IFFO has members in more than 40 countries and represents
nearly two‐thirds of global production plus around 80% of exports of fishmeal and fish oil worldwide. The main producing countries include Peru, Chile, China, USA, Norway, Iceland and Denmark.
We are looking forward to a very successful meeting one which reflects the organisers strategy of applying science, technology and business analysis to the commercial concerns of the marine protein and oil sector and the related supply chains; these range from farmed seafood, to land animal and petfood nutrition as well as the omega3 market
IFFO is ideally placed to communicate your message effectively to the fishmeal and fish oil global marketplace and provide you with an unparalleled opportunity to penetrate the market further. By promoting your message to IFFO international members, IFFO will provide you with unique expansion opportunities proven to improve your business.
