Price
In April, the average price of imported fresh fillets at Customs was up 3% on that of the previous month and down 4% on that of April 2018. The average price of frozen products, with USD 4,189/kg down 1% than March and 5% in April 2018.

Markets
In April imports of fresh fillets were 1,818 tons for USD 13,668,000, 13% lower volume and 11% value than the previous month and 1% higher volume and 3% lower value than in April 2018. In the first four months of the year they totaled 7,415 tons and USD 55,029,000, 4% less in volume and 8% less in value than in 2018.

Imports of frozen fillets reached 6,399 tonnes, worth USD 26,808,000 CIF at Customs. These figures are up 8% in volume and 7% in value on those of previous month and up 62% in volume and 53% in value on those of April of previous year. During the period, totalled 28,330 tonnes and USD 116,976,000, 21% less in volume and 18% less in value than the previous year.

During the period, imports of other products (whole, H&G and gutted, HS 0303890040 and HS 0303230000) totalled 11,654 tonnes, worth USD 23,292,000 CIF at Customs.
