Price
In March, the average price of imported fresh fillets at Customs was down 1% on that of the previous month and 5% on that of March 2018. The average price of frozen products, with USD 4,216/kg was 5% higher than in February and 3% in March 2018.

Markets
In March, imports of fresh fillets reached 2,095 tonnes and USD 15,357,000, 25% higher volume and 24% value than the previous month and 3% higher volume and 3% lower value than in March 2018 In the first three months, they totalled 5,597 tonnes and USD 41,411,000, down 5% in volume and 10% in value on those of 2018.

Imports of frozen fillets reached 5,938 tonnes, worth USD 25,036,000 CIF at Customs. These figures are 29% lower in volume and 25% in value in relation to those of last month and 27% lower volume and 24% value than those of January last year. During the period, totalled 21,931 tonnes and USD 90,168,000, 31% less in volume and 28% less in value than the previous year.

During the period, imports of other products (whole, H&G and gutted, HS 0303890040 and HS 0303230000) totalled 8,556 tonnes, worth USD 17,104,000 CIF at Customs.
