Prices
In October, the average price of imported fresh fillets at Customs was up 1% on that of the previous month and down 2% on that of October 2017. The price of frozen products was USD 3,861/kg, down on that of September and 1% on that of October 2017.

Markets
In October, imports of fresh fillets reached 1,827 tonnes and USD 14,022,000, up 3% in volume and 4% in value on those of the previous month; and up 3% in volume and 1% in value on those of October 2017. In the first ten months, they totalled 18,347 tonnes and USD 143,304,000, down 12% in volume and 6% in value on those of 2017.

Imports of frozen fillets reached 9,131 tonnes, worth USD 35,252,000 CIF at Customs. These figures are down 15% in volume and 16% in value on those of the previous month; and they are down 22% in volume and 23% in value on those of October 2017. During the period, exports totalled 92,663 tonnes and USD 366,682,000, down 6% in volume and value on those of the previous year.

During the period, imports of other products (whole, H&G and gutted, HS 0303890040 and HS 0303230000) totalled 33,040 tonnes, worth USD 64,070,000 CIF at Customs.
