Haroon is our resident expert in all fish species. He has spent time processing, packing and marketing a variety of fish species throughout the world. His 36 years experience and extensive knowledge of all species, coupled with his personal contacts and enthusiasm for selling fish yields great results. Haroon is passionate about sustainable species and sensitive to the needs of fishermen and packers who struggle to make a better life through hard work and respect for their surroundings. He joined Australis because barramundi has such a unique story. He believes our future food supply depends on sustainable production systems and barramundi has a strong place in our seafood for the future. He overseas a strong sales team that covers live, fresh and chilled products and is proud to be part of the Australis team.
He is a family man -- he's been married for 38 years and enjoys spending time with his 4 children and the recent addition of a grandson! He's also an avid reader and traveler.
