In March 2009, Theo Hoen took over as CEO of Marel. Theo has close to 25 years of experience in the industry and was previously the CEO of Stork. Under his leadership, Stork became the global market leader in equipment and systems for the poultry processing industry. Following Marel acquisition of Stork in 2008, he was appointed Deputy CEO of Marel.
Theo has a Masters degree in mechanical engineering from Technical University Eindhoven, 1984. He joined Stork PMT in 1986, originally in manufacturing and later became the company’s Technical and Manufacturing Director. He was appointed General Manager of Stork Titan in 2001.
