In 2008, Jon Getzinger joined Ocean Nutrition Canada as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) responsible for sales, marketing and regulatory affairs. Prior to ONC, Jon was at RTI, a fast growing, technology driven company serving the restaurant and food service markets. As Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at RTI, Jon implemented process and training while restructuring sales, marketing and customer service to elevate functional competencies and gain efficiencies and velocities in the pipeline. Before joining RTI, Jon was at Cargill, where he was a Commercial Director, responsible for developing and leading high performing sales teams. He designed and implemented sales structure, process and training for two different business units. Prior to this, Jon was Vice President, North America, for Monsanto/NutraSweet, driving the launch of the new sweetener Neotame in Australia and the U.S. During this time he was also responsible for overseeing large branded accounts and the sales team. Jon also held management positions with General Motors, Canadian-based Philip Services and Nalco. Jon received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and his Master's in Business from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he served until recently on the University's executive board, overseeing the executive M.B.A. programs. Jon's wife Bonnie is an Executive Administrator for the Minnesota based Mosaic Company, and his twelve year old daughter Abby attends the 6th grade. The family resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
