Simon started work for Shetland Catch as Assistant Managing Director in 1998 and was promoted to Managing Director at the end of 2006.
Before this, Simon worked for Jaytee Seafoods, a company that is involved with klondyking in Shetland, Scotland and Ireland. When he was younger, Simon spent his summer holidays in Lerwick or Ullapool working with the klondykers. Having been brought up with the pelagic industry his whole life, there’s really not much he wouldn’t be able to tell you about the industry. Simon holds an MA (Hons) degree in Economics.
