Jens Møller was going to show his kids how seaweed could be used to capture enzymes, but the experiment went wrong and small beads drop out instead of turning the colour of the water from green to red. A couple of weeks later Jens Møller looked at the "accident" and realized that the beads could be mistaken for caviar. After the discovery years went by where Jens Møller did experiments in the basement of his home. When he finally got his world patent he decided to start Jens Møller products.
