Mary Fleming is an Owner and serves as the Treasurer and CFO of Stavis Seafoods. She is responsible for overseeing the financial matters of Stavis Seafoods, including budgeting and cost control, financial analysis and financial statement preparation, international business transactions, legal, bank and lease negotiations and special projects. She also oversees the finance, accounting, credit and information technology divisions of the company. Mary’s career at Stavis began in 1984, in the accounting office. Mary started at the bottom of the ladder and worked her way up learning multiple tasks in the importing, accounting and sales departments. After getting her MBA, Mary returned to Stavis in 1988 to manage the accounting office. In 1993, Mary took over as Sales Manager and remained in that position until late 2002. She was then promoted to the newly created position of CFO. She also served as part of the Sales Management Team from 2010 to 2013. Mary graduated from Brown University with a BA in psychology in 1982, and from Harvard Business School with an MBA in 1988. She is actively involved in a number of charities including Birthday Wishes, Ramapo for Children and Walk for Hunger. She also serves as a Member of the CFO Roundtable and was named a Woman of Influence in the Food Industry by The Griffin Report.
