Mr. Jan ‘t Mannetje, Visserijbedrijf J. ‘t Mannetje SL 3, works directly as a fisher in the Dutch flatfish fishery sector. He has been part of a domestic research project earlier representing stakeholders (i.e. Kenniskringen during 2008-2011). His career as a fisher started in 1961 and he has thus been in the sector for decades, having personal experiences of the direct effects in the past resulting from structural changes in fisheries management at EU- and domestic levels. He is available to advise and assist this proposed project as necessary.
