EcoSea Farming S.A. is a Chilean company which uses copper alloys to improve productivity and sustainability in the aquaculture industry.
The company was founded in 2007 when a team of aquaculture and materials experts recognized the positive impact that the remarkable properties of copper could have on marine aquaculture in Chile and the world. As a result of this project they created an innovative company, EcoSea Farming, to advance the development and deployment copper alloy mesh aquaculture systems.
Our strategic partners are Codelco, the International Copper Association Ltd., the Universidad de Concepción, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Fundación Chile, and Sitecna.
