MarineSitu was founded as a spinoff of the University of Washington with the goal of taking marine environmental monitoring technologies developed for research and making them accessible to industry.
MarineSitu is bringing real-time, ML-driven environmental monitoring to marine energy and hydropower in our mission to create a sustainable and inclusive Blue Economy. A spinout of the University of Washington, MarineSitu is commercializing the Adaptable Monitoring Package and related technologies, providing the marine energy industry with affordable environmental monitoring solutions. The company is building on the success of the AMP through development of novel hardware and scalable software and data management solutions to further reduce the cost and complexity of monitoring.
