The beginnings of the Shipyard are linked to the work of its founder, DonFederico Contessi, who began in naval activity at a young age in his native Italy, where his uncle worked in a shipyard builder and repairer of wooden fishing boats. Federico arrives in Argentina in 1947 with 16 years of age and immediately used in Mar del Plata the same office building.

The company president, Federico Contessi, still working in the workshopalongside his workers, trying to spread its profound dedication to the greatnaval art to future generations.

On the other hand and simultaneously with construction work, the Shipyardcontinues to provide repair services to the national fishing fleet, putting dry halfof 60 to 80 boats per year. These repairs include some integral transforms, long, engine changes and other works of great magnitude.
