During the fiscal year ended December 28, 2008, Ahold divested its 73.2% interest in Schuitema.
The Company also holds a 60% interest in ICA AB, based in Sweden, and a 49% interest in JMR - Gestao de Empesas de Retalo, SGPS SA, based in Portugal. On August 2012, the Company acquired 78 C1000 and four Jumbo supermarkets.
