Fitoplancton Marino is a company with professionals who are highly qualified in microalgae production systems, conservation systems and nutrition.
Fitoplancton Marino was established in 2002 focused on satisfying the market needs of various sectors including aquaculture, aquarium keeping, cosmetics, health and nutrition, guaranteeing the best standards in quality and experience.
In 2011, the company became part of Grupo Hisparroz, linked to the multinational EBRO Foods. This integration has led to the generation of synergies in the human nutrition sector while fostering joint efforts in aquaculture with other companies in the Group, like Pesquerías Isla Mayor SA (PIMSA), as support for its Marine Fish Breeding Centre located in Veta La Palma Farm. This also allows us to take advantage of the synergies generated in the human nutrition sector.
The objective for the next decade is to consolidate Fitoplancton Marino as a leader in the production and commercialisation of products with high added value derived from microalgae.
