CETMIS is an organization dedicated to providing technical assistance to micro, small and medium-sized companies in the national farming industry, facilitating their approach to the most advanced technology, in order to improve their productive results and their competitive position in a sustainable way. For this, we have highly qualified professionals and technicians, with experience and knowledge in the production of mytilids, who act as extension agents deployed in the field, in the main areas in which this economic activity operates.
The Center for Technological Extension for Sustainable Mytiliculture (CETMIS) is an initiative supported by CORFO and executed by the Chinquihue Foundation, a private non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the development of the artisanal fishing and small-scale aquaculture sector.
