Sea Star is a wholly owned Canadian company specializing in salt fish production. Incorporated in 1983, Sea Star processes and markets quality salt fish to customers in North America, South America and Europe. The business is family owned and operated by Adlai and Fenton Cunningham. Clark's Harbour, the home of Sea Star Seafoods is located in the southwestern part of Nova Scotia, an area famous for its salt fish products.
We at Sea Star are committed to providing superior quality salt fish products to our customers. We have done this by maintaining control over all aspects in purchasing raw materials, handling and processing. Our family has been active in seafood processing since 1894 when our grandfather started his salt fish business one mile from where our facility is today. The current management has 50 years of first-hand experience in harvesting fish, lobster pound operations, and in the processing of salt fish.
