Procesamiento Especializado de Alimentos S.A. de C.V. engages in the processing and commercialization of tuna. The company is based in Tapachula, Mexico.
In 2004 entrepreneurs Alejandro Chaljub and Mauricio Pariente decided to do something transcendent for their native Chiapas; create decent employment sources. This desire prompted them to create Processes. A group that today is engaged in the fishing, processing and commercialization of yellowfin tuna, but above all, to transform lives.
From the beginning in 2004, they are engaged in tuna processing at their Puerto Chiapas plant, where it positively impacts communities in the region by employing men and women heads of households.
In 2010 they decided, literally, to get on the boat and expand their productive activity to fishing, thus was born Chiapas Fishing. This decision triggered a new stage of growth and led them to acquire 2 vessels with capacity total catch of 1,500 tonnes per trip.
Pesca Chiapas is an initiative of PROCESA and is the company responsible for tuna fishing in the Pacific seas, lands directly at our plant in Chiapas where it is processed and made it our brands Marina Blue and Nutri Tuna.
