Friosur was a pioneer in the salmon industry in the Aysén region and one of the first companies to get involved in this business in Chile.
In 1997 the dynamism and volume of the business prompted the creation of a new company, Salmones Friosur S.A.
Nowadays, Salmones Friosur has six farms, located in the shore of the Eleventh Region of Aysén: Camello, Chacabuco, Manco, Elena Island, Renaico and Santa Maria del Mar, producing three species: Atlantic Salmon, Coho Salmon and Rainbow Trout.
