Globalpesca S.A. is a chilean fishing company that owns and operates two freezing long liners catching seabass in the unpolluted Antarctic waters.
Home port is Punta Arenas located at the Magellan strait. The company owns seabass fishing quota to fish in the chilean territorial waters and also participates in exploratory fishing in distant waters regulated by CCAMLR and in international waters in the South Atlantic.
Our fleet of two modern twin vessels built in 2002 is fully equipped with state of the art equipment to catch and process the fish in the best conditions at the same time protecting the delicate antarctic environment and the wildlife most specially the sea birds.
Globalpesca is a member of COLTO (Coalition of Legal Toothfish Operators) and strongly support the international fight against IUU vessels.
