Since 1961 the name Ristic has stood for innovation. Because when just a handful of people were thinking about it, we started to bring the best seafood from faraway lands onto German tables.
The portfolio of products we market today ranges from uncooked seafood through barbecue skewers ready to eat. The sustainable catching of wild seafood has been and still is just as important to us as the certified as organic shrimps farming in accordance with Naturland regulations.
To be able to guarantee top-quality products, we invested in a warm-water shrimp processing plant more than 10 years ago that is still unique inside Germany. Thanks to our expanded cold storage warehouse with a capacity of some 5,500 pallet spaces and our in-house laboratory, we are the partner you need when it comes to the sensitive production and marketing of seafood.
In March 2016 Ristic AG was taken over by GBC, the parent company of the Belgian shrimp supplier Morubel. The two shrimp specialists expect the merger to result in a broader range of sustainably and responsibly sourced shrimp for consumers.
