This Association was formed, with nationwide in April 1988, in the interests of the owners of tall freezer longline vessels, a procedure which has been an intense development in recent years.
Vessels belonging to this Association are those freezers that operate in the manner of longline high but can operate with other types of fishing gear. Devote their fishing activity Swordfish, mako and other sharks, all characterized species due to their migration and displacement on the surface or middle water. The average duration of the tides of these vessels are between 45 and 90 days. Its business is diversified among the three oceans: Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans.
