International Holding Co (Publico, ABD:ASMAK) is a United Arab Emirates-based public joint stock company engaged, together with its subsidiaries, in the establishment, management and operation of fish farms, production, protection and processing of fish and products fishing, the trade of fish and fishing products, as well as the carrying out of real estate operations, such as purchase, sale, administration and leasing of real estate.
ASMAK, a company based in the United Arab Emirates, is a leading supplier of fresh and frozen seafood products throughout the Middle East. Founded in 1999 as a wholly owned subsidiary of International Holding Company PJSC, ASMAK offers comprehensive solutions to its customers including fresh seafood, a range of frozen and breaded products under the brand name "asmak" and value-added products, maintaining a focus on processing, distribution and exports in MENA and key global markets.
ASMAK maintains a well-established and rapidly growing business, with an experienced leadership team, an excellent distribution network and long-term relationships with suppliers and customers. The Company’s primary activities are structured into six units, namely fish farming, aquaculture, distribution, sales and marketing, consultancy and investments in aquaculture.
The International Fish Farming Holding Company (ASMAK), was set up in May 1999 after an IPO (initial public offering) earlier in January 1999, through the efforts of the UAE Offsets Group (UOG), and with the support of the Abu Dhabi Government with a paid-in capital of AED 300 million (US$ 82 million).
The Capital was subscribed 45% by founder shareholders and 55% by ordinary UAE citizens who were offered shares priced at AED 10 (US$ 2.7) each through an initial public offering (IPO). ASMAK aims to become the UAE's leading aquaculture company and gradually expand its operation
